Job Information

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for the overall supervision of the Workshop Program of Trace Industries-Madisonville. Responsible to the General Manager of Trace Industries. Duties of this position shall include the following:

(1) Supervision of assigned staff.
(2) Responsible for the production activities, including quality control and scheduling.
(3) Coordinate the overall operation of the Supports for Community Living program, Developmentally Delayed (DD) vocational services, and Seriously Mentally Ill (SMI) vocational services, and Substance Abuse.
(4) Management of the program budget for Trace-Madisonville.
(5) Maintain client production records and oversee client reports in general.
(6) Supervision of the client/employee programs for work and training.
(7) Conduct time studies as required and set up required jigs and other equipment used in production.
(8) Management of the facility and other Center property at the workshop in coordination with the Coordinator of Facility Services.
(9) Coordinate with General Manager, Behavior Management Specialist, and Case Management in the development of individualized service goals, and the monitoring and assessment of Client-Employee progress.
(10) In coordination with the General Manager implement community relations programs with parents and others on behalf of Trace Industries.
(11) Responsible for the client payroll and compliance with Wage and Hour Certification.
(12) Implement the local safety program in accordance with Trace Industries and the Pennyroyal Center policy.
(13) Ensure the maintenance and cleanliness of the areas used.
(14) Participate in production planning and supervisory training.
(15) When required, supervise the operation of the dimension mill in the production of required finished lumber.
(16) Supervise Adult Day Habilitation Program.
(17) Other duties as required/assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High School graduate or equivalent required. Experience in management of resources desired, i.e., people, money, and material. Industrial or production experience desired. Valid driver’s license and light truck/forklift experience required. Basic electrical and mechanical skills required. Must provide proof of a recent (less than 1-year-old) TB skin test, and pass a legally required Criminal Record Check and Sexual Offender Registry Check. Must maintain CPR and first aid certification.
