PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for the daily training and supervision of 10-12 Client-Employees’ work skills in the Adult Day Habilitation program. Works under the supervision of the Shop Supervisor.
Duties include the following:
(1) Supervise assigned client/employees in a production setting, custodial setting, or day habilitation setting.
(2) Set up and meet work production schedules and know the standards for cleanliness and follow them.
(3) Maintain assigned Client attendance, production, and progress records/reports.
(4) Responsible for the cleanliness off the area used and or insure checklist for each building is complied with in the custodial setting.
(5) Oversee safety of assigned client-employees adhering to all safety requirements.
(6) Set up and maintain assigned equipment (production and janitorial) and the safe working order of all.
(7) Participate in conducting time studies as required.
(8) Coordinate with Shop Supervisor, Behavior Management Specialist, and Case Manager in the development of goals for client-employees’ progress. Train new clients-employees’ in the area of organizing their work to maximize production and in the area of janitorial work.
(9) Check in all sub-contract parts, accomplish assigned sub-contract(s) and finish products according to schedule, and transport clients to and from each custodial site.
(10) Know the quality standards of applicable products and maintain product quality, adhere to all safety requirements, and abide to able to read and understand written instructions and comply with the Material Safety Data Sheets on all products used.
(11) Attend all production and training meetings as directed.
(12) Serve as forklift operator as needed.
(13) Responsible for assigned vehicle including daily checks on fluids, lights, and tires.
(14) Other Duties as required/assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High School graduate or equivalent (GED) required. Industrial or production experience desired. Mental health/mental retardation or adult habilitation equivalent experience preferred.
Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and present proof of automobile insurance. Must pass a legally required Criminal Record Check and a Sexual Offender Registry check. Must present proof a recent (less than 1-year-old) TB skin test.
Must maintain CPR and First Aid certification. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and climb and work from a 12′ ladder.
