Title Practice Manager, Substance Abuse Services

Job Information

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
(1) Overall planning and oversight of all substance use services throughout the Pennyroyal Region.
(2) Assist Substance Use Staff and Director of Substance Use Services to develop appropriate treatment and patient education programs.
(3) Provide administrative supervision within treatment and education programs.
(4) Assist in provision of consultation and case review with Substance Use community partners including Adolescent Drug Court, Adult Drug Court programs, DUI Services, and Prevention in budget and planning functions on an annual basis, consulting with the Director of Quality Management for program monitoring on a year-round basis.
(5) Participate in staff conferences.
(6) Education in the community and with community agencies which may include law enforcement, industry, Community Based Services, and others on both program and case basis.
(7) Assist Director of Substance Use Services in completion of State and Federal Survey..
(8) Serve as Pennyroyal Center’s representative at meetings of the Kentucky Division of Substance Abuse or others as designated, with written reports to the Executive Director.
(9) Participate with clinic and program coordinators to recruit substance use staff as needed and approved, working at all times to maintain a high quality and well-credentialed substance use education and treatment team.
(10) Monitor licensure requirements specific to Substance Use Services.
(11) Employee must be willing to work beyond regularly scheduled clinic hours if necessary.
(12) Travel to other clinics will be expected based on the needs of the Center.
(13) Other duties as required/assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of either:
1) Master’s Degree in Business Administration or other related field.
2) At least five years progressive managerial experience in a healthcare or related setting.
Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of automobile insurance. Must pass a legally required Criminal Record Check and a Sexual Offender Registry Check. Must present proof of a recent (less than 1-year-old) TB skin test.
