OUTPATIENT THERAPIST

REPORTING/COORDINATING RELATIONSHIP: Practice Manager/Director of Clinical Operations

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Possible clinical supervision if qualified.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

(1) Perform clinical evaluations and assessments which will include diagnosis.
(2) Intake, screening, referrals, and crisis intervention services, responding within one hour of the request when assigned to that service.
(3) Individual, family and group therapy to address various emotional disorders and mental illness.
(4) Participate in staff conferences.
(5) Prepare treatment plans, write goals, and objectives.
(6) Work as part of a multi-disciplined team in Clinic with emphasis on brief, goal oriented therapy.
(7) Consultation and education in the community and with community agencies which may include law enforcement, industry, Community Based Services, and others on both program and case basis.
(8) Clinician may be required to work an altered schedule.
(9) Employee must be willing to reside in the Pennyroyal Region.
(10) Travel to other area clinics will be expected based on the needs of the Center.
(11) Participate as necessary in the emergency back-up on-call process.
(12) Other duties as assigned/required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be a QMHP with a minimum of Master’s degree in a human service related field having completed the required 2 years of supervision. Must be licensed to provide mental health services in the state of Kentucky. Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and present proof of automobile insurance. Must pass a legally required Criminal Record Check and Sexual Offender Registry check, and present proof of a recent (less than 1-year-old) TB skin test.
