MEDICAID WAIVER PAYROLL SPECIALIST

REPORTING/COORDINATING RELATIONSHIP: Chief Financial Officer/Coordinator of Fiscal Services

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: N/A

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

(1) Process payroll with ADP.

(2) Be able to set up new companies with ADP.

(3) Review timesheets and pay rates.

(4) Process monthly employee changes in the ADP system for payroll purposes.

(5) Perform duties related to employee terminations and outprocessing, including updating and archiving files as necessary.

(6) CMHC data entry.

(7) Assist with the annual W-2 process and tax withholding changes.

(8) Maintain contract files.

(9) Process all payroll garnishments and complete the necessary paperwork.

(10) Submit billing to Medicaid for reimbursement.

(11) Must comply with all state regulations required for the Medicaid waiver program and assist with annual state reviews.

(12) Must maintain individual budget ledgers for each client.

(13) Serve as the liaison to the Pennyroyal Center auditors for the annual audit concerning CDO payroll information.

(14) Other duties as assigned/required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High school graduate plus accounting/payroll experience and/or training. Experience with ADP a plus. Proficiency with spreadsheets such as Excel; proficiency with Microsoft Word. Proficiency with CMHC software, organizational skills and filing. Strong ability to multi-task, meet general objectives within a narrow time frame, and communicate effectively. Must demonstrate ability to handle sensitive information in strict confidence. Must pass a Criminal Record Check.
