The Regional
Prevention Center is located at the Westerfield Bulding at our Hopkinsville North Drive campus. Prevention Center staff provide training and
materials targeting youth and adults to prevent the use and abuse of alcohol,
tobacco and drugs.

The Pennyroyal Regional
Prevention Center offers a comprehensive library of pamphlets, brochures,
booklets and other information from national and state sources on alcohol,
tobacco and other drugs. Audiovisual materials are available for checkout
to teachers, professionals and other service providers free of charge.
Our
services for children and youth utilize science-based prevention programs
to develop healthy decision making skills. Science-based programs have pre-tests
and post-tests to determine how well the program is retained by students.
Adults
are provided information, education and training on the effects of alcohol,
tobacco and other drugs through the workplace, church, schools, civic groups
and other sites in the community.
