Statistics show that one in five Americans will suffer a mental health event sometime this year. These events can be anything from too much stress to depression or anxiety or a host of other mental health issues. Many times they are passing occurances and no outside intervention or help is needed. But when the problems continue to stack up, and a person becomes less able to cope with the symptoms on their own, Adult Crisis Intervention may be needed.
Our 24-Hour RESPOND Center is manned with professional clinical assessors who help determine the best course of action for adults experiencing a mental health crisis. As with our Children's Crisis Stablization Program, we seek the least restrictive environment for our adult clients. If it's possible to remain at home, we will do everything we can to make that happen. If relocation is required, we have several alternative housing options available for persons who qualify for Adult Crisis intervention.
